Hiveku can publish Google Posts — the updates that appear on your Business Profile in Google Search and Maps — alongside your other social posts.
Already connected Google Business Profile under Marketing > SEO? You’re one click away: the social connect dialog has an Import from SEO button that reuses that connection. No new Google setup.
1

Open the connect dialog

Go to Marketing > Social > Accounts and click Connect Account on the Google Business card.
2

Import

Click Import from SEO. Hiveku discovers the locations on your connected profile and shows a picker — check the locations Hiveku should post to.

Option 2: Full Setup (no SEO connection yet)

Google approves Business Profile API access per Google Cloud project, so this path involves a Google application with a wait:
1

Create a Google OAuth app

Follow Set Up a Google Cloud OAuth App if you don’t have one registered in Hiveku yet.
2

Apply for Business Profile API access

Fill out Google’s Business Profile API access request form (search “Google Business Profile API access request”), submitting your Google Cloud Project Number.
  • Your Business Profile must be verified and at least 60 days old
  • The applicant email must be an owner/manager on the profile
  • Approval typically takes 1–2 weeks
3

Enable the APIs

Once approved, enable Google My Business API, My Business Account Management API, and My Business Business Information API on the project.
4

Connect in Hiveku

In the social connect dialog, pick your Google OAuth app and click Connect with your app, then choose your locations.

Good to Know

  • Posts support one photo and an optional Learn more button (your post’s link). Videos aren’t supported by Google Posts.
  • Don’t put phone numbers in the post text — Google rejects those posts automatically.
  • No per-post view counts. Google discontinued per-post statistics in its API; Hiveku shows profile-level metrics (views, website clicks, calls) instead.
  • Text is capped at 1,500 characters; Hiveku trims longer content.
